FROM THE LEGION COMMANDER Hello Legion Family, I first want to start off by saying I hope everyone is safe during this terrible crisis our country is going through, but through resilience we will get through this and once again get our normal lives back. I ask for everyone to please contact any of our more elderly members to ensure that they have what they need to survive. If we have any member that might need assistance please contact me and we will see what we can do for those individuals. As for Legion Operations, we have taken every mitigation to keep our cost to a minimum while our doors are closed. We have also applied for the Small Business Loan(Grant) that the government offered and we also took out a small line of credit for emergency reasons if this crisis lasts longer than expected. I want to thank the Sons of the American Legion for their donation, as well as the other anonymous donors. These donations give us a life line to keep our Legion going. As of right now we expect to have our meetings in May. Of course we will abide by the Federal and State guidelines at that time and make the appropriate decisions at that time. We will be having a Memorial Day Ceremony, but at this time we are planning for the regular yearly event and we also are planning for a much smaller event depending on the situation at that time. We will keep everyone informed on the situation. Also, until further notice all raffles will be suspended and will continue after we have avoided this crisis. Look forward seeing you at the Legion again as soon as possible. God Bless You All and Stay Safe! “Veterans Still Serving” . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Daniel Yablonski
