FROM THE LEGION COMMANDER
Hello Legion Family, This is the hardest Newsletter that I have had to write as being your Commander. As we all know we have had to close our doors due to the crisis our Nation is currently going through. Although our country is resilient, we must remember we must do what is in the best interest of our Legion and most importantly the safety of our members. I want everyone to know we have taken every precaution to reduce cost while our doors are closed. I feel bad to our loyal employees that depend on pay checks from us and hope they will get the assistance to get through this rough stretch that our Nation is going through and will overcome. While everyone knows while our doors are closed we still have monthly expenses that we cannot shut off and we estimate we have enough funds to maybe carry us through August in a worst case scenario. With the Legion, the Auxiliary, and Sons of the American Legion we have almost 900 members and if any wishes to make donations to the Legion to get us through undetermined times it would be greatly appreciated. American Legion Post # 305 9548 Cherry Valley Ave SE Caledonia , Mi. 49316 Look forward to seeing you at the Legion again as soon as possible God Bless You All and Stay Safe! “Veterans Still Serving” . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
